Hats, gloves, and scarves that you didn’t use last winter. But honestly if you haven’t put it on your foot it in the last year, do you REALLY need it? Shoes you don’t wear- Same with fancy outfits, we often keep a lot of “just in case” shoes. Not to mention, most people tend to buy something new for a really nice event anyways so no need hanging on to a nice outfit you’ll never wear again. Personally, I’ve cut my collection of these down to 3 staple dresses and I just rotate through them. Fancy outfits – We all are guilty of hanging on to our fancy outfits for when we have a nice event to go to, which for most of us isn’t that often. Then, purge anything outdated or that you haven’t worn in over a year. Some of us have some sentimental pieces and those are OK to keep, but if you don’t wear them often, consider storing them somewhere else like a lockbox in the attic with other sentimental items so they don’t clutter up your everyday stuff. It’s just cluttering up your closet and making it harder for you to find your favorites. Stop holding on to things that don’t fit well just because “you might wear it someday”. Any intimates with holes – It’s ok, go ahead, admit it, we all have a pair of underwear somewhere that has a hole in it.Purses you haven’t used in the last year.Yep, check that freezer for anything that’s been in there so long you no longer know what it is. They have probably expired and honestly aren’t even that delicious. If it hasn’t been used in 1-2 years, it’s time for it to go. ![]()
